Clarity on extended contract status

Clarity on extended status- How does Zoho “extend” a contract?  E.g. if client extends by 1 month, can the “end date” be adjusted accordingly in Zoho and tagged as “Extended” with a clear audit trail that also captures the client’s email?

Note- Email must be formally stored alongside the contract for audit purposes.  Can this be done?
