Hello Everyone,
We have an important update for those using the Script (Deluge) platform to build chatbots, widgets, and forms. Google has alerted us about sensitive scopes within the Google Drive and Google Sheets default connections in Deluge. As a precaution, we will be deprecating these connections.
What does this mean?
Starting August 15, 2024, any connections created with Google Drive and Google Sheets services by Default services in Deluge will no longer function. Additionally, creating new connections with these services is no longer possible, as they have been removed from the Default Services in the Connections. Existing connections will remain active until the specified date.
How to resolve?
We recommend using our Custom Services to integrate with third-party cloud services not covered by our Default Services. By setting up custom service connections with the appropriate scopes for your needs, you can still access Google Drive and Google Sheets functionalities. Please ensure you manually update all instances of the affected connections in your functions with the new custom service connections.

Removal of scopes in Google connection
On a related note, we'd like to inform you that some of the restricted scopes have also been removed from the Google connection. The affected scopes are as follows:
Update: Workaround for Google Workspace Users
Google Workspace users can continue using their existing connections by adding the Deluge client ID as a trusted application in the Admin Console. To proceed, please contact us at
support@zohodeluge.com/
support@zohosalsiq.com to obtain our client ID. Then, log in as an administrator to Google Workspace and complete the verification process to allowlist Deluge as a trusted app.
We understand this change may require some adjustments on your part, and we appreciate your cooperation. Please make the necessary updates before August 15, 2024, to avoid any disruptions.
