Though my company doesn't typically work shifts, we're trying to create a process to have a snapshot of who is and who is not in the office given the pandemic and our atypical schedules. I've read a few things, but it seems like this is the next best solution. My question now is whether I can edit shifts to be partial days, depending on an employee's hours. For instance, if an employee takes PTO in the afternoon but is working in the office in the AM, is there a way to take a shift that is typically 7 hours and make it only 3.5 without creating an AM shift, PM shift and full-day shift?
