Most HCM system use effective dates/action reasons to store historical, current, and future information. Effective dates enable you to maintain a chronological history of your data. By storing effective date information in tables, the system allows you to review and report on all changes made to an employee (manager, salary, position, level....).
Looking at Zoho people, I don't understand how I can maintain a chronological history for an employee except by looking at the audit history. Is there any way to report on audit history?
I'm curious how you manage your employee/job history.
