We are here with some interesting enhancements in Reports. Let's take a look at each of them in detail.
Scheduling static reports
Up til now, you were able to schedule default and custom reports only. Now we have extended the scheduling of reports to static reports as well. Static reports that are available in Zoho Desk by default such as Agent availability, Agent Performance, Reopened requests etc. can be scheduled for a particular time, like weekly, monthly, yearly or daily etc.
More fields to group date or date/time fields
So far reports were grouped only by the date field, now we are allowing more fields such as hour of the day, weekday, month and year, weekly, quarter and year. Using these groupings you can create reports for the desired period.
Increase in the number of grouping and columns
For summary and matrix reports, earlier it was mandatory to use 2 fields to group the report data, to provide more flexibility we are now allowing data grouping even with 1 field, if required users can use both fields to group their data.
Likewise, In matrix reports under columns to total earlier we allowed only 1 field but now we are providing an option to choose a maximum of 3 fields.
View total records in a report
Now we are displaying the total number of records in a report right inside the report detail page.
