Establishing Relationships among contacts/leads with Reciprocal
Is there any way to create a relationship between contacts and leads and be able to go into just one of the files and have it reciprocate the entry in the other file? For example, if I have two people say John and Jane Smith who are husband and wife. I want to show the connection in each of their files to show they are "Spouse" regardless of whether they are a lead or client. What I am wanting to be able to do is to go into either one of the files and set up that relationship and have it set up that relationship automatically in the other file so I don't have do it manually in each file. Right now I have to go in to each of their files and create that relationship.
I can't believe that Zoho says they are a CRM for Sales and not have this feature! No matter whether you are B2B or B2C it doesn't matter. I can't think of anyone in sales who would not want to be able to see each contacts circle of friends, contacts etc. This just allows for more sales opportunity because you can see how others are connected to each other. Most smaller CRM's already have this built right in so it is quick and easy to use. With Zoho it TAKES FOREVER to get links set up to other prospect/clients/leads.
Just try this for example:
If I have 3 couples (6 individuals) and I want to show in my zoho crm that they are all friends. I HAVE TO MAKE AT LEAST 15 ENTRIES (my math could be off on the number. It could be more)! THAT IS INSANE AND VERY TIME CONSUMING! With other more basic crm's I would only have to make 5 entries because it would automatically fill in the linked relationship between the two. THAT CUTS MY TIME TO 1/3!
I can't believe that with all of the other awesome features Zoho has, they have FAILED to have this very simple but awesome feature. It makes me wonder if they really understand sales at all.
If I am missing something and someone can tell me how I can do this more easily that would be greatly appreciated.
