Event reminders for group calendars.

We are a small church trying to operate an opening up rota. We have a zoho group of which all our keyholders are members and a weekly event in that group's calendar which records who is set to open up each week. Each event is set up with a couple of reminders. The reminders should go to the whole group so that empty slots in the rota can be volunteered for. The problem is the reminders only go to the owner of the group and not all members. Is there a way to change this behavior?
