Export Attendance After Review
I am looking for a way for users to trigger an export of attendance data out of People.
The use case is that we use the Attendance feature in Zoho People to log our employees' hours. Unfortunately, the punch in / punch out functionality can be a bit unreliable, so a member of management reviews each employee's attendance in Zoho prior to finalizing the data for payroll.
Right now, the attendance data is manually transferred to another application for processing. I would like to automate this with a custom function.
The problem I'm running into is I can't figure out how to trigger this in a way that makes sense. The transfer must be initiated manually, and it needs to be simple enough for someone who's a non-expert in the Zoho suite to execute.
I wanted to use a custom button, but it doesn't seem like that can be applied for the Attendance module.
Any suggestions for a good way to accomplish what I'm trying to do?
