With a flurry of regulations surrounding privacy and data handling ready to come into effect, we've made a few tweaks to Zoho Campaigns. You might have already read about some of the changes we had recently made (in case you haven't, you can find them
right here
). Apart from those, we have also introduced the following modifications to the product:
Imprint Information
Transparency is one of the most prioritized aspects in every set of regulations. In fact, regulations such as GDPR make sender information compulsory in all communication. Keeping that in mind, we've added the Imprint Information merge tag which allows you to include organisation details such as name, contact information and Tax Identification Number in every email campaign with ease.
Another thing that these regulations push for is better control over who you communicate with. The German Telemedia Act, for instance, advocates enhanced recipient management where the sender must specifically communicate only with the intended recipients. Taking this into consideration, we have entirely removed* the Tell-A-Friend option.
In the coming days, we will be making quite a few additions and enhancements to Zoho Campaigns, in order to ensure a hassle-free transition into being entirely compliant with all the regulations.
Cheers,
Sarvesh C K
(*In case you are part of US-DC, you will still be able to avail the Tell-A-Friend feature by using the corresponding merge tag. However, we would recommend checking your subscribers' region)
