We have recently been migrated from US DC to EU DC and experienced a downgrade in Formatted Resume functionality. At the US DC we had our own MS Word template (our own standard header/footer and styles) as template where the full formatted resume was inserted. A formatted resume still need some adjustments, but it was adjustments in the same template as we use for cases where we did totally manually conversion.
This functionality was a residue from the time prior to the introduction of the Advanced Formatted Resume. In the migrated environment we could still upload a template based on our standard MS Word document, but to insert the full formatted resume is impossible since no such merge object exists. This is a major flaw in the Advanced Formatted Resume feature design.
In the Basic template for Formatted Resume, the merge object "full formatted resume" is available as an invisible "only-object-there-is" merge field. It would be great if this "full formatted resume" merge object would be enabled also for the Advanced Formatted Resume templates. Especially for uploaded MS Word templates. In this way, Advanced Formatting Resumes could generate resumes in standard MS Word format. The development effort to enable this should be very minor.
