Il est temps d'alléger vos outils avec AR Measurement



Que ce soit au bureau ou sur le terrain, les professionnels sont bien équipés pour prendre des mesures à la demande, mais le grand public n'a pas toujours les outils de mesure nécessaires.

Que signifie AR Measurement ?  

AR Measurement est un outil de réalité augmentée (AR) qui peut être utilisé pour mesurer la distance entre deux points ou obtenir les dimensions d'un objet lors d'une session d'assistance à distance. Cet outil peut être utilisé activement par les techniciens et les clients qui le rejoignent depuis leur appareil mobile (Android et iOS), et les mesures prises à l'aide de cet outil seront visibles par tous les participants à une session.

Les mécaniciens et les ingénieurs qui travaillent dans tous les domaines, de la salle des machines des navires à la section des services publics des installations industrielles, sont généralement exposés à des espaces confinés, à des températures élevées, à des systèmes à haute pression et à des machines lourdes. Les risques sont élevés, même pour des travaux de maintenance ou de réparation de base, et encore plus lorsqu'il s'agit de prendre des mesures à l'aide d'outils conventionnels.
Dans de tels cas, l'outil de mesure AR de Zoho Lens assure la sécurité de vos employés pendant qu'ils effectuent leur travail. Cet outil de mesure virtuel permet à l'utilisateur de prendre des mesures sur des équipements dangereux à partir d'une distance sûre et de conserver un enregistrement numérique sous forme de photos, de notes de séance ou d'enregistrements.

Tout au long du processus de création d'un prototype à partir d'un dessin ou d'un plan, les équipes de création de prototypes et d'assemblage dans les secteurs de l'automobile et de l'aviation doivent travailler de manière synchronisée pour obtenir des résultats précis. De même, les spécialistes du contrôle de la qualité et les inspecteurs de la sécurité vérifient à distance de temps à autre que les protocoles sont maintenus et que les normes de sécurité sont respectées.
Les mesures jouent un rôle fondamental dans tous ces processus et, dans le cas des sessions à distance, la mesure de la Réalité Augmentée  devient un outil essentiel. Les participants peuvent prendre jusqu'à neuf mesures simultanées, ce qui leur permet de comparer et d'analyser différents objets au cours d'une même session.
De même, un technicien de terrain, un agent de première ligne ou un superviseur d'équipe peut utiliser la mesure de l'AR de nombreuses façons pour diagnostiquer un problème, prendre des notes pour les pièces de rechange ou vérifier les irrégularités.
