We moved to Zoho Subscriptions from Chargify who's arguably the leader in subscription business billing software.
Overall we've been very happy with Zoho Subscriptions!
But one area that needs to be improved is the automated reminder options when a credit card is expiring.
Chargify states "that about 50% of our churn rate is due to failed or expired credit cards. That’s why we equipped Chargify with the most robust set of dunning management tools available to help you deal with the “unhappy path” (when credit cards fail)."
We see the same thing with our clients where we lose a ton of revenue and have churn challenges because of expired credit cards.
While Zoho Subscriptions has a setting to send
one email when a card is set to expire and one email when it actually expires, that's not enough.
Chargify's default settings are to send
three
emails (see attached) during the month a credit card is expiring.
This is the type of feature request/enhancement that would benefit every single Zoho Subscription user as every recurring subscription business faces churn challenges due to expired credit cards.
I hope you can prioritize this as it would result in reduced churn / extra revenue for every Zoho Subscriptions user that chooses to turn on the extra credit card expired emails (which nearly every Zoho Subscription user should!)
Thanks,
Adam
