Is there a way to Create a Custom Module without having a required field?
My company sells Restaurants / Real Estate. An important part of our business is keeping track of any potential Buyer that we have introduced to a specific property.

I created a custom module that works fine for this. It has a lookup field for the contact and a lookup field for the restaurant / property shown. Unfortunately, there is a required field (which is forced to show up on related list views), so I end up having to copy and paste the data from the lookup field into the required field, so everything looks right. It seems like this is a waste of time. Is there a way to get rid of the required field?
