A lot of things have changed since we last spoke about the Jira integration. It works so much better and almost in a perfect wat for us.
Our setup is as follows:
- We link a Desk ticket that needs bugfixing to a ticket in Jira
- In Marketplace, we setup that all comments and statusses from Jira will be synced to the Desk ticket.
- We created a workflow rule in Desk saying: Everytime that a Desk ticket with the status 'sent to jira' (which we created) has a certain comment added (for example fixed etc), send an email to the customer that their issue will be fixed in the upcoming release, and the ticket is set to closed.
This is almost working. However, the last status of the Jira issue (Closed) is not being synced. Also the resolution (in this case 'Fixed') is not being synced to Zoho Desk.
I understand that for now only comments and statusses are being synced to Zoho Desk. The resolution would be great ofcourse. But since that is not possible, is there areason the last status is not synced? There aren't a lot of options I can change from the Zoho side. Would you know how I can make this possible?
