Hello everyone!
When we first designed the collaborate feature, our objectives were crystal clear: To help your team come together in one place and work towards your social media marketing goals. Be it brainstorming ideas for new posts, reviewing the performance of old ones, or figuring out responses for any engagement on your profiles— the collaborate tab helps you do all of that seamlessly.
At Zoho Social, we decided to make this feature even better.
I'm super excited to let you guys in on the changes we've made to the existing Collaborate feature, so that you can communicate with your team or your clients (or both) better than you ever have.
Are you ready?
*drumroll*
Introducing the revamped Collaborate tab!
So, What's new, you ask?
For your eyes only
For starters, we've made a small button that allows you to choose exactly whom you want to share your discussions with. The visibility of the posts is set to "Everyone" by default, but can be edited. For instance, if you're using our agency plan, and you'd like to discuss something with just your clients or your team, you can choose either "Team Members" or "Client Members" from the drop down box. Or, if you want to discuss it only with a specific set of people, go ahead and choose "Custom share", and then select the people you want to share the posts with. Pretty nifty.
Forgot to change the visibility of your post? Not a problem! You can edit it even after you've made a post. Just click on the visibility button on the post and then update it before everyone else catches on ;)
Filter your feeds with just a click— find the exact kind of posts you're looking for.
In this update, we've introduced tags to every post on your collaborate feed. Whenever a new post is made, it'll go out with a tag, depending on where it originated from.
You will also be able to see a filter option in the collaborate tab, which is set to "All feeds" by default. From the filter tab, you can choose the type of posts that you want to see and then carry on with your discussions.
You can also filter for specific types of posts by clicking on the tag that appears along with a published post.
Filter your feeds by user
Want to see only what a particular user has posted? Easy! Clicking on their profile picture will open a tab that will show you all their activity to the left of your screen, and every discussion they've participated in to the right. You can also get to this screen by clicking on their username in posts that they've been specifically mentioned. It's that simple!
