Hello,
In the previous post we discussed why you should authenticate your domain and what happens if you don't.
In this post we will discuss how Zoho Campaigns lets you authenticate your domain by first adding a sender address.
Adding a sender address
A sender address is the from address that your email recipients will see when you send emails. While choosing a sender address, Zoho Campaigns strongly recommends using a specific, business-related name. This helps create a unique identity for your brand or business. Also note that Zoho Campaigns only allows verified email addresses to be used as your sender address.
Let's take a look at this scenario:
Jane has started a restaurant consulting firm that helps chefs start their own restaurants or outlets in the city. She has a list of potential customers which she procured from a reputed catering agency. She decides to use Zoho Campaigns to send emails to those contacts. Taking into account the Zoho Campaigns recommendations, she uses the sender address "janegerard@zylkerchef.com." She purchases the unique domain "zylkerchef" for her business from a domain hosting website called GoDaddy.
Please note here:
1. The chosen address has her sender name, "janegerard."
2. "Zylkerchef" is a business-specific domain name
