Form Submission

In this post, we'll learn about the form submission trigger.
Form submission is when a contact shows interest in your product/service and signs up (via a form) to receive newsletters. The form submission trigger will initiate the workflow every time a contact signs up. When you're designing a workflow, you can either set this trigger for all signup forms or only for a specific set of signup forms.
After you drag and drop the form submission trigger on the canvas, you must configure it by selecting the signup forms for which you intend to use it. Next, select a relevant process for the workflow. Once you configure the process and the end of workflow actions, you can go on to activate the workflow. Once the workflow gets activated, every signup via the form will follow the defined workflow.
Sending onboarding emails — A form submission-based workflow
One great way to start a conversation with a contact is to schedule a series of automated emails that will be triggered when a contact submits a form. These can start with a welcome email that goes out with their account information, and they can be followed by onboarding emails. An onboarding exercise helps the lead get familiar with the product you’re offering on your website, ultimately increasing the likelihood they'll buy your product.
