In the previous post, we learned about pushing leads to CRM after a form submission. In our final post of the series, we'll learn about automating the onboarding process after a form submission.
This can be achieved by associating a signup form with a workflow. When you do so, leads who sign up will be pushed to the workflow, and the corresponding action will be executed.
How to associate a workflow with a signup form
Select a signup form and go to Automation Tools subtab. Select Push to workflow and then select the workflow that you have configured to execute a series of actions.
Let's see how this works in a scenario
Cathy, who runs an online fashion boutique, wants to provide a discount to those who are interested in her summer collection. She creates a signup form with a "Interested in Summer Collection" checkbox. She then creates a workflow to move leads to a separate mailing list when they select the checkbox. Cathy associates the workflow with the signup form and uses it on the website. After all the leads sign up, Cathy sends a welcome email along with the discount to the mailing list to boost her sales.
