We found a huge bug with the calendar update and now (based on what Zoho support told me) we basically have to stop using the integration.
We have always had our Google Calendars and Zoho calendars sync'd (we create events in Google Apps) so we could have contacts added to Zoho from event invite list. With the new update, duplicate invitations and reminders are now sent out (even to people outside of our organization!).
This means that everyone (including the people we are inviting) now receives two invitations (after Zoho sync's with Google it generates a new event AND sends out an invite, and then reminders). This being the case, we have to stop using the calendar integration.
I cannot imagine a use case where someone would want Zoho to also send out an invitation and event reminders when they've already created an invite in Google Calendar. I asked support about this, and they said it is a feature not a bug. Under what circumstances does this make sense?
Please fix this issue - it is causing lots of complaints and preventing us from greater usage of Zoho.
