I have been on the phone with Zoho support and they claim their development team needs to investigate more. However, I've found this is a pretty standard answer after a call takes any amount of time. After that, it's days and even weeks before it actually gets resolved. Normally I find workarounds but this issue is just too big.
We have built several Zoho Marketing Automation journeys trying to resolve the issue ourselves but nothing triggers a journey to execute in Zoho Automated Marketing. We've tried:
1. Using the Criteria trigger with multiple variations to no avail.
2. We've tried multiple Journeys that use the Add to List trigger and still nothing.
They are all three-step test Journeys. One for the trigger, the second to send the email, and the third to remove the contact from the journey. Nothing complicated about any of them.
We used Zoho about 2 years ago and bounced after 9 months because of the issues with support and bugs. Apparently, Zoho hasn't changed their ways even after being reassured by the Zoho rep that non-stop called us. Does anyone have any ideas? If not it's time to find a new platform.
