Overlapping Zoho Apps
I have always loved the idea of Zoho One but always felt the individual apps were lacking but in my most recent assessment, found the apps especially Projects, Cliq and Mail much improved and we've now headed down the path of moving towards a Zoho One subscription.
However, the thing that I don't understand given that Zoho One is not a new idea, is how Zoho still have such a wild overlap of functionality. I've just been looking at Zoho Learn but there is an LMS in People? There must be half a dozen task systems, multiple Wikis, forums. It must take far extra time to keep developing different version of the same functionality.
I reckon did nothing else than rearchitect some of these to all use the same microservices they would have an offering that blows the rest of the market away.
