Parts - Order Statuses & Tracking
We have been using FSM for the past week. I see that it's missing a VERY important area when dealing with On-Site installations\Service. Part Tracking & even statuses. Most of the times we need to order equipment for the workorder. Based on when the equipment comes in, we then schedule the appt.
I know as of now we can NOT change the status names. Only the description. We need to be able to track parts that are linked to the WO and once they are delivered to our office, we update the status.
Next to each part line item we should have a drop down that shows status. With a colored option
- Unordered
- In Stock
- Ready to Order
- Ordered
- Received
- Client Supplied
Then we can track this in a filtered search, and we can then make a appt. once the part status is set at "Received"
Can this be done in deluge or any other ideas to make this work today.
