Likewise, we will need to use a certain mix of colors on our websites.That is what your customers want to see on their web pages, because that is what signals you know what you are doing to them.

Moreover, a well-designed web page will show that you have taken the effort of creating such an appearance, which will surely impress your customers.

All right, so, how should you go about making an appointment scheduling site?



Your scheduling page will also include all you need for your customer to arrange time with you. It should contain all the information they need to know, and be easy and convenient for them to book a time slot.

The booking page design and style should not be too different from your website either as it does not form a specific visual layout for your image. In the background image of your booking page, there will not be much going on because it takes so many things into your booking page.

This results in your booking page being too cluttered and causing your clients to try to waste so much time on your website trying to complete a booking which would not be a pleasant experience.

We would suggest that you test a booking after developing your page from top to bottom so that you can find the finer points on your booking page which might not be appropriate. Doing all of this would surely enhance the customers online booking experience.


The best place to start is your background image.

For starting the design process. we would suggest you look at websites of other personal trainers on the internet between whom you will find certain similarities. The first thing will be that all the good ones will have on the website images of their establishment. This is something that is key to building your customers an attractive booking page.

Photos of customers with you training them can be great material for the background image of your booking page and for promotional purposes. Therefore, if you have some images from your work that can be used on the booking page, it would be excellent. You can always get some from websites like Unsplash if you do not have anything like that.

The color scheme you will be using affects the background image as well. You can get the color scheme right from there if you have a website for your establishment. Only look at your website and address this question with a series of colors: which colors are the most popular on your establishment's website?

If you get at least two colors from your website, that is the color scheme we would suggest on your background image to go ahead. If you do not have a website to refer to, you can pick any selection of colors that you want as long as they go well with each other and are suitable to your work.

You can keep these colors in mind while looking for background images, so that you can give preference to the images that have these on them.

It will mean that the website and booking page are designed equally, and as clients transition from the website to the booking page it would look rather consistent. Please keep in mind that if you do not have a website, you need not worry about any references that we make in this guide to one.

You can follow the same without taking the website reference into account. Just make sure that the image you use on your background does not have too many details or elements on it, as it can make it more difficult to read the text that will appear on top of it. Additionally, if you need to place any logo that you have on the background picture itself, you may need to use other graphic design software from third parties to do so.


What about the other things on your site, then?

Remember the color scheme we have used so far? That is the exact one we are going to use as well to apply colors to other elements on our page.

Now that we have finished designing our background picture, we mostly have four places where you would need to add colors to your booking page: Background color, Text color, Color button and Text color icon.

Make sure that the color you apply contrasts well with the background area behind it while applying color to each area. This way, you can also ensure maximum visibility of both the element and the background.

This applies in particular to the text on the page which is of utmost importance since it may contain information that your customers need to know before they book a time slot on the page. From your color scheme, you can try out different colors from your text and choose the one that is most readable on your page.

In case you do not find such a color, you can always go white as white is a neutral color and can go with any selection. Keeping similar instructions in mind, try out various page combinations and settle for one that you think is the best.


The text on your site is probably the most powerful part.

The text above the buttons is where you can have for your post those punchy one-liners. You can also use the same space to inform customers before booking the time slots of anything they may need to know about.

Remember that you can rely on them to read it before moving over the buttons because the text is above the buttons. If you think the space provided for the text is not enough, you can also modify the background by using graphic editing software to give some more information to the customers.

After each edit you make while designing your booking page, we highly recommend that you check your edit by clicking on the Go To button at the very end of the Workspace settings and checking your booking page's live preview. That means you can tweak the design while you start to modify and update the various parts of the booking page.


Is that everything that you need to do? Not quite!

Having opinions from others is a good way of making sure that you have other points of view to your booking page. Many times we get carried away with our design that we can sometimes add to our product certain elements which are unnecessary or irrelevant.

It is therefore crucial that you get opinions from others you trust, such as colleagues, friends or family, who can evaluate your work and have suggestions that might or might not improve your booking page. Once you have rolled out your booking page, get your customers feedback and ask them to suggest any improvements that might be made from their perspective.

This act not only gets you information that you can use to improve your services, customers also feel good when they are asked for their feedback as it makes them feel that you care about quality in your service. This will only benefit you in the long run as it also helps build customer loyalty to your establishment and services.
