Yes! This new year is all set to gift you a lot of surprises. Just one week past the new year celebrations, we are all back to work. We at Zoho Projects are happy to share the latest enhancements that we went across in the last quarter. For those who've missed to check our latest enhancements, here goes this post to give you a brief.

Highlights of the last quarter - 2016

Staff-based Billing

Until recently, you were able to generate the invoice based on project hours. Now, you can evaluate each employee's effort by using the staff-based billing . According to the type of project, you can choose your billing method. If the project requires different types of user rates for different skill sets, you can go in for staff based billing. And, if the project carries the same user rates throughout, then you can use the project-based billing. 

New home for Support 

Now, you can easily get in touch with our support team and post your queries. Click the Need Help icon in the bottom right corner of your project and select Support. You can click on each module and view the most frequently asked questions. And, you can also submit a request.

Export Users by Portal and Project 

You can now view all the users and their rates per hour using the Export Users feature. Only the Portal Owner can access this feature to view the user rates.

Timesheet Project Report

Get the last logged time for all the projects in your portal using the new Timesheet Project Report. Click Home in My Timesheet and select the Others Actions in the top right corner of the page. Click Project Report and view the last logged time for all the projects.

Pie chart for Tasklists

Track the performance of your tasklists at one glance. Click the tasklist and select the Chart View. You can view the tasks by user, status, priority, and the percentage completed.

Bulk update in My Tasks

When you want to move 10 tasks to another tasklist, you manually select each task and move it to another tasklist. But, what if you've 50 tasks which need to be moved to another tasklist? Moving each task will kill time.  Now you can close or move tasks, change their owner or priorities in bulk from My Tasks in Classic view .

Add attachments in Bugs

Now, you can add attachments while resolving a bug. Click  Resolve Bug in  Other Actions . Change the status, type the resolution, and attach files and update the bug.

Resplendent Chat module

Our Chat module is now adorned with a vibrant look and feel. Try out our new Chat feature and experience the feel-good conversations with your team.
