A rental database that allows internal staff to rent items from a list (currently on excel).
The admin user would be able to add or remove items that are available for rent.We are attempting to use a barcode scanner which would make life much easier for our staff.
The form would look similar to below: *Item Check out Form* - Barcode Number (We have a wedge scanner and will add barcodes to items) - Staff Member - Staff Member Email - Client Name (Drop down List) names will need to be looked up from a live excel list that changes daily - Placement ID (Dropdown List) placements will need to be looked up from a live excel list that changes daily - Item (Drop down list). Need the ability to add new items - Checkout Date (Default value = Today) - Borrow length (2 weeks, 4 weeks, permanent) - Due Date (Will equal checkout date plus 'borrow length' selection)
A warning email will need to be emailed to staff three days prior to the item being due. Once an Item has been returned, the staff member will need to scan the barcode and fill out the following form. If not returned by the due date, an email reminder will need to be sent to the borrower. *Item return form* Maintenance Staff Member Return Date Item Condition Acceptable (Yes/No)
