Revamped Tax section is now available in the newer version of the CRM app!

Hello All!

We are here to announce about our all new revamped 'Tax' section of the Zoho CRM mobile app.

In the latest version of the Zoho CRM mobile app (Android and iOS), we have brought in support to display the customized tax rates and to select multiple tax rates for the inventory records.

You can customize the tax rates on the desktop site and the same will be reflected in the mobile app.

To customize the Tax Rates:

1. Log into desktop site (crm.zoho.com) with Administrator privileges.
2. Go to Setup > Customization > Modules and Fields.
3. Select the Products module from the Modules list view.
4. Scroll down to the 'Price Information' section.
5. Click the 'More' icon on the Tax field and select Customize Tax Rates option.
6. In the pop-up window, click the Add or Delete icons to add new taxes or delete existing taxes, as required. Click and drag the rows around to rearrange their order.
7. In Preferences, select if you want users to modify the tax rates or auto populate the associated tax rates.
8. Click 'Save'.

Once done, please carry out a sync in the mobile app, for the customized tax rates to be reflected in the mobile app.

To carry out a sync, follow the steps mentioned below:

1. In the Zoho CRM mobile app, go to Products module.
2. Select 'Module Settings' (at the top).
3. Tap 'Sync Desktop Settings'.

You can also modify the tax rates directly from the mobile app for Inventory records (Quotes, Sales Order, Purchase Order), if the permission to modify the tax is enabled on the desktop site in the Products module Settings.

To enable the permission to modify the tax rates from the Inventory modules, follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Go to desktop site (crm.zoho.com).
2. Select the 'Setup' (at the top right corner).
3. Tap 'Modules and fields', under 'Customization'.
4. Go to the 'Products' module.
5. In the 'Price Information section', click the more option (3 dots) beside the Tax field.
6. Check mark the 'Can modify tax rates in the inventory line items'.

To choose multiple Tax rates:

1. Go to Invoices module in the mobile app.
2. Add/ Edit the record.
3. Go to the Products section.
4. Add a product.
5. Tap the 'Tax' option.
6. Choose multiple taxes and select 'Save'.
7. Enter the details of the Invoice record.
8. Select 'Save'.
