So setting the business environment - Brick and Mortar selling retail OTC. Also we provide local delivery service to wholesale accounts. We are now opening our first eBay store.
I am using Zapier to create 'contacts' from completed PayPal transactions.
We view ACCOUNTS as customers that are re-occurring.
Contacts are being created and I have created some custom fields/layouts to capture important transaction details.
If this Contact buys again - transaction details will be automatically updated and I lose the previous transaction information. I am guessing that we will need to make some sort workflow program to have the Contact assigned to an Account?
OR better yet - How do I keep a record of PayPal transaction details such as purchase date, item numbers, and so on; and attach that information to a Contact with out having to create an account?
I am getting stuck here.
