Share a screen with remote attendees using Zoho ShowTime
The easiest way to collaborate virtually with remote attendees is via screen share. Do you have a team that's scattered across the globe or a colleague who's out of office? Use ShowTime's screen share feature to share an idea or plan a project over the web. Schedule a remote session and initiate screen share: 1. Go to https://showtime.zoho.com/. 2. Click Create Session button at the upper-right corner of the screen. A pop-up will appear. Enter the required fields, set the session type as Remote Session, and click Create. Tip - Remote session is used when you have attendees in different locations. You can broadcast your voice, video, and screen to them. 3. Scroll through the Session Details, Registration, and Audio Details sections and click Launch. Note: You can launch screen share even without a presentation. 4. Enable camera and microphone access at the prompt and click Share selected devices. By default, the audio and video will be ON. 5. Click Start Broadcast to begin sharing your session with attendees. They'll now be able hear and see you. 6. In the Options page, click Screen share to share your screen directly with attendees. You'll be prompted to select "Your entire screen", "Application window", or "Browser tab." Note: Chrome users will need to install an extension to use screen share.
Your entire screen - Share your entire screen with attendees.
Application window - Share a particular application window with attendees. They will see only the application and nothing else on your screen.
Browser Tab - Share a particular browser tab with attendees.
While sharing one type of screen with attendees, you can switch between types by clicking the Screen share icon. You'll be prompted to choose what you would like to share.
Other Benefits As the trainer running the session, you can enable and/or disable audio and video by clicking the Microphone or Video icon. During the screen share, you can also run polls to evaluate attendees' knowledge and ask them to send questions. Use live chat to interact with attendees, and at the end of the session, measure how well things worked with the help of ShowTime engagement analytics.
Stop Sharing Once you're done, click Stop Sharing. If the session was started with a presentation, you'll be returned to it. If the session was started with a screen share, you'll be taken back to the options page to choose a Presentation or a new Screen share. Attendees will still be able to hear and see you. You can still conduct polls and receive questions. Click Exit to end the session broadcast.
Requirements: 1. Screen share is available for Firefox (Version 52 and above). 2. Screen share is available for Chrome only with the extension. 3. Zoho ShowTime is available for Mac and Windows.

Raising one's hand was the ancient style of getting people to acknowledge a speaker. People clapped to show their appreciation and booed to show their disapproval since the Roman times. Even today, in many senates and parliaments 'yays' and 'nays' are registered verbally. But, how can one genuinely measure audience response? The solution was in the form of an Audience Response System (ARS). An ARS is a tool that is used to connect speakers to their participants. This helped in measuring audience
