I really want to like Zoho One. The number of apps offered is outstanding and I've talked with several people that are very happy with the software. But onboarding has been a real disappointment so far and I'm about to abandon it for our company and go to other services. I want to post this message in one last attempt to salvage this before I do that however.
Here is what I've run into so far:
1) I added my account with no problem. However, the first user I added tried to login and was told that he had to enter an OTP code to access his account. First, I haven't set up MFA policies yet and the admin screen clearly says that. Second, he can only get the OTP code from his new email account....that he can't get into yet because he doesn't have the OTP code.

2) I set up the MX servers, SPF records and DKIM records to point to the Zoho mail servers and Zoho confirmed they were set up correctly at each step. But when I go to the email admin screen, I get the disturbing message that I may be missing mail because the MX servers aren't set up properly. When I click the link to set them up in that message, it cheerfully tells me again that my MX records are set up properly. ??????
3) I tried to load files using an Excel spreadsheet and got the notice that Zoho can't handle .xlsx formats, only .xls formats. Seriously? Microsoft switched to .xlsx formats 22 years ago. Is Zoho really telling us it can't handle a file format that is a worldwide standard and is almost a quarter of a century old?
OK, Enough ranting. Please let us know if there are solutions to these problems and that we
won’t continue to run into these snafus as we migrate on to Zoho. Otherwise, we need to cut our losses and move
to Google or Office.
