Hi all,
We're in Japan, we deal with Japanese companies. Japan has a 10% sales tax. Everything was working normally until 2 or 3 days ago when 2 things started happening:
1. Order totals (in the Sales Order module or Invoice module) were often incorrect due to rounding inconsistencies. For example, 10,008 (item cost) + 1001 (10% tax) = 11,008 (order total)
However, after saving the order (or invoice) and then re-opening the order by clicking "edit" and then saving again straight away, the correct figure is displayed.
So obviously a bug.
2. Japan generally uses the character 円 for its currency. So 100 yen is written 100円
However, all of sudden the 円 character disappeared and all figures are now preceded by JPY (which is obvioulsy the international currency symbol for Japanese Yen)
The problem is, a lot of Japanese don't know what JPY1000 means- they need to have 1,000 円 instead.
Why did this suddenly happen? Can we revert to how it was last week?
Can anyone offer any tips?
I noticed in the settings there is a tab for currencies in the "Company Details" settings area. I don't recall seeing this before (is it new?) and there is a setting for "home currency". I have not selected anything (for fear of breaking the system) .
We're using the "Professional Edition" of Zoho CRM.
