Streamline Linking to New Pages
[I'm sure you've already thought of this, but here goes... ]
Allow users to create and name new pages from the "Insert/Modify Link" dialog.
Here's my current work flow.
1). I want to add a link to a new page.
2). I open an existing page for editing, and add the text of the new link.
3). I highlight the new text, and select "Insert Web Link" from the toolbar.
4). (Ooops!) I remember that my new page doesn't exist yet.
5). I cancel the "Insert/Modify Link" dialog, and (hopefully) remember to save my edited page. [I've accidentally clicked on "Create new page", and unwittingly blown away my existing edits <g>]
6). Once I've created my new page, I navigate back to my original page, press "Edit", re-open the "Insert/Modify Link" dialog, etc, etc...
Doesn't work so well... besides, when you create a new page, there are not yet any links to it, so it's in this sort of "where's my page" limbo. Then again, how do you link to something that doesn't exist? I think it might be useful to wrap both actions into the "Insert/Modify Link" dialog. Thanks.
