We’ve been discussing various ways to improve the response rate of surveys and subtly, using effective terms and conditions is an essential factor in it. When a customer receives a survey from someone, the immediate questions that pop up in their mind are ‘who is this person?’, ‘what do they want from me’, and ‘will my data be safe?’. Hence, preparing well-prepared terms and conditions answer all the questions professionally. This provides clarity about what should happen in any given situation.

Here are the points that you have to consider while preparing the right set of terms and conditions:

Description - Prepare a description that covers points from the introduction to the terms of service, acknowledgement statement, liability, privacy policy, non-compliance, signature, and dateline for both parties.
Condition Label - Mention all the essential conditions regarding your user and product/service like role, country, language, price, publish date, stock status, etc.
Navigation Behavior - Zoho Survey provides two different ways to handle the customer’s navigation behaviour when it comes to accepting terms and conditions. They are:

Enable the Next button only on accepting the agreement - Enable the customer to use the Next button only when they accept the terms and conditions agreement.
Display an error message on clicking the Next button without accepting the agreement - Display a custom error message when the customer uses the Next button without accepting the terms and conditions agreement.
