TIPS AND TRICKS #10 - Displaying timesheet details on invoices
Businesses that log time for projects, and invoice customers for the logged hours will need to display Timesheet Notes and Timesheet Start & End Time on invoices.
By following this tip, you will be able to display the timesheet notes and timesheet history on all invoices created for specific projects.
How does it work?
◙ Navigate to the Timesheet module and open the respective project.
◙ Click More in the top-right corner and choose Invoice Preferences.
◙ Now, for the How to sort data on invoice field, choose Show All Timesheet Entries Individually. For the Show in Item name field, choose an option as per your requirement. For the Show in item description field choose Timesheet History and Timesheet Notes.
◙ Click Add.
Once done, whenever you create a new invoice for the respective project, the timesheet's start time and end time, along with the timesheet notes, will be displayed on the invoice.
