I have tried unsuccessfully multiple times with CRM support to solve this issue and I do not have a budget to work with a Zoho Partner. I can't seem to figure out a way to explain the problem or figure out why it is a problem. I am hoping someone out there has a similar setup and can tell me how they solve it.
We sell Medicare plans which are annually renewable. If they do not make a change, the plan renews. We set up a Deal for every enrollment. If they change their plan (and it could change this year, next year, or in 5 years), we enter disenrollment date in the deal and create a new deal. If I want to know how many active deals we have today, I run a report requesting all deals where disenrollment date is empty.
The problem is this: I would like a report that gives me the number of active deals on 12/31 each year, see attachment. The chart on the left is all deals made. The chart on the right is without disenrollments. The total number on the right is correct for today, but 55 in 2021 is not correct. The reason this is happening is because although there weren't any disenrollments to the 2021 deals IN 2021, many made changes in the subsequent year(s) therefore there is a disenrollment date in there.
Is this making sense to anyone out there?
