UI Enhancements in list view for Zoho CRM

Dear All,
We hope you're well!
We are here with a few UI updates to the list view in Zoho CRM. As you all know, list view is a simple tabulation of your records. To have ease of access and navigation, the list view is armed with options like quick actions, sort options, manage columns, and advanced filter.
Now, to enhance the user experience, we have developed the following UI updates to these accessibility options.
  1. Contextual quick actions
  2. Change of sort/ unsort toggle
  3. Retain or remove activity badge
  4. Pin/ unpin desired columns
  5. Save filter - location change 

Contextual quick actions

Besides the standard quick actions that appear on the utility tray, we have introduced contextual quick actions. It includes actions that are relevant to that record, permission of the user and the module. You can access them on hover and it is easy to manage a particular record on-the-go. 

Change of sort/ unsort toggle

Thus far, were able to see the sort option only when you click on the column header

Now, we have now introduced a toggle by the header of each column to sort the records ascending or descending.

Retain or remove activity badge

For every activity, the record will bear an activity badge that looks like a ribbon. Thus far, if you have an activity, it will be displayed, consuming a column space.

Now, you can choose to keep or remove it from display in the list view. All you have to do is to check/ uncheck the Activity Badge option from within the manage columns page.

Pin/ Unpin columns

Thus far, the first column and the activity badge are frozen by default.

Now, we have extended the option to choose a desired column to freeze. Upon pinning a column, the selected column will be moved to the left side of the list view, enabling ease of reference while navigation.
You can pin/ unpin from the following three places in Zoho CRM:
  • Within manage column:
  • In the sort toggle:

  • Custom view creation pin:

Save Filter-Change of location

Thus far, when you apply filter criteria in advanced filter, the save filter appears in the same place as the apply filter option.

Now, we have included this save filter option along with the record summary over the advanced filter.

That's about the UI enhancements for list view. These changes are currently live for all users in all DCs.
