Update on Instagram’s publishing issue [FIXED]

Hello,

Following a brief technical snag experienced by some users today while publishing posts to Instagram, we wanted to make a quick announcement and confirm that this issue has now been fixed by Instagram. You can now resume publishing as per usual.

In the last few hours several of you faced difficulty posting image content via Zoho Social— PNG file format specifically—to your Instagram profiles.

While this issue persisted only for the PNG image content, and none of the other image file formats ( .JPG or .GIF) - we would advise you to take heed of this, while publishing for the next few hours, unless we hear an official update from Instagram.

But the current status stands that all publishing has been resumed as per usual, and for those of you who had difficulty sending out a post from the Zoho Social dashboard - do check the Failed Posts section on your Zoho Social dashboard to retrieve and republish any content that may have bounced back.

You can do this with the following steps:

1. Head to Posts on your Zoho Social home screen.
2. Click on Unpublished Posts on the left side bar
3. From the top menu click on the Type dropdown and hit ‘ Failed Posts’
4. Head to the desired post and click on the retry or schedule again  icon to publish/schedule the post.

Hope this helps you. Feel free to reach out to us on support@zohosocial.com if you require any help.
