Dear Marketers,
We are here with a fresh set of updates for Zoho Marketing Automation. These updates are solely crafted for enhancing your marketing experience with the product and is available only on Zoho Marketing Automation 2.0.
1. Product recommendation - This feature is mainly for marketers who've connected their Shopify, or Zoho Commerce stores with Zoho Marketing Automation. Our AI-powered platform examines your customers' past purchases and in-store interactions. This lets you customise product recommendations for individual customers and use them in your emails. Simply drag and drop the component below, then select the kind of suggestion you want.
There are two types of recommendations: Basic and Advanced.
Basic recommendations can be used immediately, but advanced recommendations need 10 products, 100 clients, and 50 completed orders in order to be implemented.
2. RSS campaign- We have reintroduced RSS campaigns in Zoho Marketing Automation. The RSS Campaign is an easy way to share and view the website updates without visiting the website. This is done by sending automated campaigns to your contacts when there is an update in the site. Typically, an item in an RSS Campaign will contain a title, concise description, and link to the original content in the website.
3. Send follow up campaign - Marketers can now effortlessly send follow up campaigns from the original campaigns with just a click of a button. You need not duplicate the campaign and fetch the list to execute follow up campaigns, instead you can directly send follow ups from the main campaign itself, iterate content and monitor campaign performance.
4. Cyclic Trigger - We have introduced cyclic triggers in Journey module. This time-based trigger is used to start a journey when contacts who join your mailing list meet the requirements on a daily, weekly, monthly, or annual basis. The trigger will only be scheduled subsequent to the Journey's activation, and it will reset upon journey freezing. The workflow will restart when you re-activate it; it won't carry over from where it was stopped.
5. Webhook - The journeys are equipped with webhooks now. Marketers can now configure webhooks for your mailing lists and campaigns. You can extract real-time data, including subscribes, unsubscribes, date, and time a campaign was sent or delivered. Configure the time interval that you want to get update in, and set the data you require as parameters while creating a webhook.
6. Public sender address restriction for Gmail announcements - In line with the recent Google and Yahoo email authentication measures, emails sent with "gmail.com" as the sender (or from) domain will be quarantined by the recipient servers. To prevent delivery issues and potential IP reputation damage, emails with a sender domain of "gmail.com" will not be triggered from Zoho Marketing Automation.
Please be aware that this limitation is specific to when gmail.com and googlemail.com is the sender domain. If you have a custom domain, such as zylker.com, hosted on Google Mailbox, then it will not be impacted by the new sender email limitation. To resolve this situation, we encourage users to use their authorized business domain address as sender address, not a gmail address. Incase you don't own a domain, you can purchase one from Zoho domains.
Note: We have hosted an online workshop for email authentication changes from Google and Yahoo. Watch the full video recording here.
