First, is there a widget, setting or embedding method which allows us to place an image into a wiki page at a reduced size (that part is easy!) appropriate to the page, but allows users to click to expand image to see details?
I didn't find a way to do this, so as a fallback I tried using the browser
View Image function, and also the drag-image-to-new-tab method. (I tried Firefox and Chrome latest versions.)
However, that method
doesn't work on zoho wiki images. Instead, the
browser puts up an Open or Save dialog.
This is apparently because the zoho server supplies a response header which prevents the browser from just showing the image.
(Unfortunately, this is not a public page, because, as noted in a previous post, I didn't find a way to set a wiki or page to public. Hopefully support can see it.)
In brief, zoho's server includes a 'nosniff' option in the response header. If that's included, the browser can't do View Image (or the drag equivalent) unless the server also supplies Content-Type. (At least, I read that this would work, I don't have a way to test it.)
I suspect this was just an oversight and not intentional, so I hope it can be easily fixed.
