We are using Zoho CRM and syncing contacts to Zoho Campaigns. I would like to initiate an email campaign from Zoho Campaigns and have it direct the user to a web form, which has an autoresponder set up when it's submitted. Is it better to set the web form up within Zoho CRM or Campaigns?
If I want additional data collected on the web form to be populated in Zoho CRM, would that mean it has to use a Zoho CRM created web form?
If the web form is created in Zoho Campaigns and the email is passed to a colleague not in my contact list, and they submit the web form, would a new contact be created in Zoho Campaigns? If so, is there any way to pass that back to Zoho CRM as a new lead?
I think I'm leaning toward setting up the web form and autoresponder in CRM ,but would like to understand if this choice would have any downside.
If anyone can provide any advice on best practices using web forms between CRM and Campaigns I would appreciate the insight.
