Zoho Books is always known to evolve over-time. In July, we've added a stack of new features and improvements to streamline your Zoho Books experience. Read on to know more about them.

Introducing Reporting Tags
With the new Reporting Tags feature in Zoho Books, tracking down different areas of your business is easy and pain-free. Associating these tags to the transactions, contacts and items will help you track their sales for a specific cost center, division or region more effectively. With Reporting Tags, you can filter and drill down into Business Overview reports including Profit and Loss, Cash Flow Statement and Balance Sheet.
Get Deeper Into The Sales Tax Liability Report (For U.S. Customers)
A drill down report on Non-Taxable Sales Transactions is now available. With this report you can view all Sales Transactions for which the Tax has been exempted. Other informations like Tax authority and Exempted reasons can also be seen here.
To do so, go to Reports > Sales Tax Liability > Click on the Non-Taxable amount adjacent to Tax Authority > Click on the amount adjacent to the required exemption.
Note: The option to Print, View in Zoho Sheet and Export the same in CSV/PDF/XLS is available here as well.
Custom Fields In Client Portal
We have enabled an option in Client Portal, where you can choose to allow your clients to edit the information provided in Custom Field. Consider a scenario, where you want to leave a field blank for your customers, to enter the details themselves or suppose you have made an error while entering the details of a client say, VAT Number or Registration Number and you want to give your clients the benefit of updating the same. The new option enables your client to enter, edit or save the required changes.
Re-order Taxes based On Your Preferences
Now you can sort your taxes, the way you want them to appear in your Invoice. For example, if you have a small or medium size business in India, and want to group your taxes according to the Indian Tax System (i.e in the order, Sales tax, Swachh Bharat Cess, Krishi Kalyan Cess) you can do so by the Tax Reorder feature.
This feature is currently available for Estimates, Invoices, and Recurring Invoices. We're also working on bringing it for other modules as well. Read More

If the customer has stored cards/bank account, they can pay through them. Read More
