Hello everyone,
We're always working to improve the Backstage experience for you, and this time we've rolled out a couple of updates to make your event planning even more effortless.
Here's everything that's happened in the past month in a nutshell:
- You can now check in attendees the day before the event. In the Conduct dashboard, go to the Check in tab and then the Event check-in tab, and then select the day in the top-left corner to view the attendees you can check in.
- Capture any missed check-in and out times by logging them. To do this, go to the Conduct dashboard > Check in > Event check-in and select the Add log option for any attendee.
- For in-person events, display details about upcoming sessions, currently running or live sessions, session polls, or a summary on completed sessions by broadcasting your session window in the session hall. You can also share this broadcast to the attendee app to enable event participants to see what's happening via their mobile devices.
- A new page called Networking is available on the microsite. All attendees in the event will be listed here, based on the consent they have given. They will also have options to connect with each other in the event on this page.
- The option to obtain consent from attendees to list their profiles publicly on the microsite is now available. You can set this up in the Networking tab in the Manage Dashboard. When this option is enabled, attendees will be asked for their consent when they register for your event.
- Meeting requests can be canceled even before it is accepted by the other event participant.
That's it for October's product updates. We'd love to know what you think in the comments below. You can always write to us at
