We're in month two of the quarantine and it looks like live experiences will be on hold for the next couple of months at the very least. For us at Backstage, it felt like the right time to refine our existing features and fine tune everything. This way, when you get back to hosting real-world events after the pandemic, the Backstage experience will be better than ever.
Here's what happened at Backstage this month.
Keep track of all visitor queries
Your microsite visitors are potential attendees, and you have to respond to their questions as soon as possible to keep them interested in your event. As most of the communication takes place through emails, chances are you've missed a few emails in the clutter of your inbox. By managing visitor queries in Backstage, you can ensure that you don't skip answering any of the emails.
Keep track of all the questions you get from microsite visitors through the Get in Touch form in the Queries tab of the Manage dashboard. Not only that, you can also update the status of each conversation as Responded after replying to it by email so that you know which questions you have yet to address.
To do this: Go to Manage > Queries
OTHER UPDATES
- Customize your microsite's Get in Touch form to collect specific information about microsite visitors who contact you through it.
- Testimonials are powerful tools to convert visitors into attendees. So we revamped the Testimonials section in the microsite, added layouts, and included the option of a carousel slider. Now, they'll truly stand out.
