What's New in Zoho Books - April 2018

Hello everyone!


March was a great month for Zoho Books and we've added quite a bit of new features. How about we take a quick peek at some of them?
Convert an Approved or Submitted Transaction to Draft

With this update you can now convert a transaction that has been approved or pending approval to the draft state. On doing so, you will be prompted to enter a reason for rejecting, which will be displayed to the submitter. This is useful when you want to mention the changes that a submitter must make before submitting it again for approval.



Create Powerful Campaigns for Your Contacts

You've been running your business for quite some time and have acquired a whole bunch of customer and vendor contacts. Now, what if you could create a targeted email campaign for them? Maybe a newsletter? With the new update, you can use advanced filters to specify exactly which contacts you'd like to export into Zoho Campaigns and create customized campaigns for them.



Track Changes in Transactions with Audit Trails (For UAE and KSA editions)

With Audit Trails, you can track the changes that were made to a transaction. You don’t have to be confused anymore with which user changed what. For every change, a new version of the transaction is stored in the Activity Logs report. You can compare the versions to view exactly how and by whom a transaction was modified.



Export Your Transaction Details to Generate Multiple e-Way Bills (For the Indian Edition)

Starting from 1st April 2018, an e-way bill is mandatory for the movement of goods outside the state. You can now export the necessary transaction details as an excel file to generate multiple e-way bills in the EWB portal. With the latest release, you can also update the e-way bill number in the transactions in Zoho Books.  Read more .  



Import PDF Bank Statements (For the Indian edition)

Having trouble with broken bank feeds or with a bank that doesn't support automatic bank feeds? We understand. That's why we've partnered with Perfios, a third party FinTech company, to enable you to import PDF bank statements.. As soon as you import a PDF bank statement, the data will be extracted and imported into Zoho Books for you.  Read more .

Export Customer and Vendor Statements in XLS

Customer and vendor statements can now be exported in the XLS format. This allows users to manipulate data and perform Excel operations on the statements. Also, this will empower your customers and vendors to have better control over the statements that you send them.
