Introducing Developer Space 

Developer Space is a new addition to Zoho Books, with a focus on helping your developers manage various features under one roof. We have moved Connections into Developer Space to help your devs track all the connections made with third-party websites. Along with this, it provides a separate place where they can monitor API usage. In days to come, we will be adding more developer-focused features in this space.

Monitor API calls using the API Usage dashboard

With the API Usage dashboard, you can easily monitor all the API calls you make to Zoho Books from other websites. Keep track of all the modules, applications, IP addresses, and users who use API calls in your organization.

 

Go to Settings > Developer Space > API Usage to take a look at the dashboard.

Option to export financial data for DATEV (for customers in Germany)

 

DATEV is a registered cooperative society that makes it easier for tax consultants, lawyers, auditors, and small and medium-sized enterprises to file their taxes online. We have provided an option to export financial transactions from Zoho Books in a format that’s compatible with DATEV. After export, you can import the data directly into DATEV and file your returns online.

Go to Preferences > Accountant to get started.

Generate Invoice Furnishing Facility reports (Indian edition)

For taxpayers filing GST quarterly returns, the Government of India has introduced the Invoice Furnishing Facility (IFF). With Zoho Books, you can automatically generate the IFF report, export it in JSON or CSV formats, and import it into your GST portal. 

 

Go to Reports and choose Invoice Furnishing Facility under Taxes to view the IFF report.
