Hello,
With just a month left to bid farewell to an eventful and productive year, we are back with new updates and integrations for Zoho Books. Let's take a look at what Zoho Books has to offer this month.
Zoho Books - Zoho Sign Integration
We're excited to announce the Zoho Sign's integration with Zoho Books. It helps the users from your organization to sign invoices and estimates before sending them across to customers. Similarly, your customers can sign the estimates in the Client Portals to accept them. Learn more.
To setup the integration, go to Settings > Integrations > Zoho Apps > Zoho Sign.
Upload Files from Zoho Workdrive
Zoho Workdrive has become one of the most suitable option to store, share, manage, and work together on files of any size online digitally. Zoho Books now offers you the option to upload the files and documents that you've stored on Zoho Workdrive swiftly.
Manage Brand And Manufacturer Details for Items
To help you classify and distinguish your items, we had provided users with the option to associate items with a brand and a manufacturer. Additionally, you will now be able to manage (create, edit and delete) your brands and manufacturers.
Note: This feature is only for the organizations that enabled the Zoho Inventory add-on in Zoho Books.
Permissions to Access Price Lists
You can limit the permissions to view, create, edit and delete price lists for the user roles you have configured. The pre-defined user role in Zoho Books will feature a full access for price lists by default.
Sender Email Preferences
You can configure the email addresses that are used in the From field of emails sent from Zoho Books. These emails can end up on your recipient's spam folder if the email address in the From field of an email belongs to a domain that does not have SPF and DKIM records. To help tackle such issues, Zoho Books will only authenticate a domain if it has both SPF and DKIM records. Learn more.
General Tax Updates
Global Edition
Earlier, the taxes that were applied on sales and purchase transactions were tracked under a single account. You can now track the taxes applied on your sales and purchase transactions under different accounts. The taxes applied on the sales and purchase transactions will be tracked under the Output Tax and the Input Tax accounts respectively.
EU, Indian and Global Edition
The taxes applied on the sale of digital services were tracked under the VAT MOSS Payable account for the EU and Global editions by default. Similarly, the taxes that were applied on the sale of digital services are tracked under the Overseas Payable account for the Indian edition.
You can now track them under Overseas Payable account .
We're always looking for your suggestions to help serve you better. So, if you have a feature request, feel free to share them here.
If you require any assistance, you can write to us at support@zohobooks.com and we'll get back to you. Stay tuned for more updates from Zoho Books.
Regards,
Bennet Noel
