What's new in Zoho Cliq - June 2020 updates

Hello again, everyone!


I'm back to share with you the recent feature improvements and updates that we've pulled together for enhancing your experience in Cliq.


Here's what's new this June for you all in Cliq's web and iOS app!

New on Cliq Web:

Drag and drop files to a chat in your left side panel  

Now you can drag and drop attachments from your open conversation window to a specific chat or channel in the left side menu without opening it.


Swift up actions and collaborate efficiently with Cliq's new drag and drop!






Edit comments for an attachment

Ever added a comment to an attachment and wished to edit it after sometime? Now you can do so easily by using the edit message action. You can edit comments for an attachment just like you edit normal messages.


Convey your message sharp and right!


 



New on Cliq iOS App:

 

Forwarded tags


Messages that are forwarded will be labelled to indicate where it originally came from. To apply the forwarded tag to a message, you'll have to enable the 'Show Forwarded from' option that pops up once you select a message to be forwarded.


These forwarded tags will help reduce the miscommunication of information and give a clear picture of where the actual message originated. The label will apply to text, image and video messages.

 

For instance, consider a situation where you forward an important message communicated by your senior manager in a channel to your team-mate. The forwarded tag will explicitly convey that it's been communicated by the senior manager.

 

The forwarded tags helps you to convey messages and set things straight avoiding confusion.

                                                              Perform effective team communication in Zoho Chat with our new 'Reply' option.   Converse and stay focussed on the parent conversation, rather than getting entangled in the web of several, never-ending sub threads.   To reply to a certain message, all you need to do is hover to the left hand side of the message.
