Introducing Replenishments
Keep your inventory always stocked-up with the new Replenishments feature! This feature helps you maintain optimal stock levels by identifying items that need restocking based on your predefined settings.
Note: This feature is only available in the Enterprise Plan.
To use this feature, you'll first have to enable it: Go to Settings > Items > Items > Enable Replenishments
Once you've enabled it, you'll have to configure if you want to create purchase order or transfer order to replenish the item and also schedule the frequency at which the stocks should be checked for replenishment.
To Create Replenishments:
Without locations: Go to Inventory > Items > click an item > Overview Tab > + Create Replenishment.
With locations: Go to Inventory > Items > click an item > Gear icon > Locations/Warehouse > Configure Replenishments
Once an item is configured for replenishments and its stock drops below the reorder level, you'll receive an in-app notification which will redirect you to the. Pending Replenishments tab where you can create purchase order or transfer order. You can also access your pending replenishments anytime by navigating to the dedicated Replenishment module. Read our help document to learn more about replenishments
Major Enhancements to the Etsy Integration
We’ve upgraded the Etsy integration with advanced configuration options. New users can enable it to access the following configurations:
Item Grouping: Standalone and variant items from Etsy are synced as item groups in Zoho Inventory.
Tax Settings: Non-taxable items follow the configured tax exemption settings.
Stock Updates:
Sync of stock updates from Zoho to Etsy can be enabled or disabled.
Quantities over 999 are capped as this is the maximum quantity Etsy allows to be displayed.
Sales Orders Import: Orders can be imported from your preferred chosen date.
Location Mapping: Supports syncing from all or selected locations.
US Edition Tax Tracking:
Tax-remitted orders can be tracked under a tax authority.
Orders can be marked non-taxable if tax tracking is disabled.
Sync History: A new sync history page allows monitoring of all syncs with filters for status and type.
Note: that all new Etsy integrations will follow this flow. Existing organisation with Etsy previously enabled will be migrated soon.
To enable the integration, go to Settings > Integrations & Marketplace > eCommerce > Etsy
Transporter Updates in E-Way Bills
You can now add or edit transporter details for e-way bills directly in the app without having to switch to the government portal. This applies to e-way bills with "Generated" and "Part-A Generated" status.
If transporter details weren’t added during generation, you’ll see an Add Transporter option. For Cancelled and Expired bills, an info icon will indicate that updates aren't allowed. All changes made are instantly synced with the e-way bill portal.
Custom Module Access in Customer & Vendor Portals
We’ve introduced support for Custom Modules in both Customer and Vendor Portals. With this update, your customers and vendors can now view, create, and manage records of custom modules directly within their portal, based on the permissions you've configured.
Once configured, the module appears on the portal’s left sidebar. You can create or edit records based on access, and any draft record will be visible under Portal Draft views. Submitted records show up in Zoho Inventory under Portal Submitted, where admins can review and approve them to move them to the main records list.
To set this up, go to Settings > Custom Modules > [Module Name] > Preferences, enable portal access, define lookup fields, set display rules, and assign permissions like view, edit, or draft creation.
Multi-level Approval for Inventory Adjustments & Transfer Order s
We’ve extended multi-level approval support for Inventory Adjustments and Transfer Orders. Transactions will only be processed once all designated approvers have approved them. Additionally, Admins can use Final Approve to approve instantly and bypass the entire flow if needed.
This feature is available under both Module-based and Entity-based approval flows. Users can view approval progress through the View Approval Details button, which shows who submitted, approved, skipped, or if it is pending.
For the final approver, the Approve and Adjust (for adjustments) or Approve and Initiate Transfer (for transfer orders) button completes both approval and creation in one step.
Enhancements to Imports & Exports
Enhanced Export for Composite Items
We’ve improved the export process for Composite Items by introducing asynchronous exports. Earlier, exports with over 25,000 records couldn’t be processed. With this update, large exports can now be automatically handled as scheduled tasks. Once the export is complete, you will receive a summary email with a secure download link.
Manage PDF Templates with Active/Inactive Status
You can now mark PDF templates as active or inactive, helping you organize without deleting unused ones. Inactive templates are hidden but can be reactivated anytime. The Clone button is now in a dropdown, and you can filter templates by status.
To do this, Go to Settings > click PDF Templates under Customization > select a template and click the Gear icon > Click Mark as Inactive [or] Clone.
Auto Generate Transfer Order Number While Import ing
We’ve made it easier to import transfer orders by introducing automatic generation of transfer order numbers. When importing, you can enable a checkbox to auto-generate these numbers, removing the need to assign them in the import file manually.
Bin Locations Details in Invoice Export
Invoices exported from Zoho Inventory now include bin-level details. This update improves traceability and provides more detailed records of how inventory was picked and fulfilled for each sale.
Enhancements to Reports
Shipment Details Report
We’ve introduced the new Shipment Details Report to give you a complete view of your shipment orders. It comes with features like Date Range filters, Advanced Filters, Multi-level Group By, and Column Customization. You can also create custom versions of the report, export the data, or schedule it.
Stock Summary Report
The Stock Summary Report has been enhanced with options to export only the data visible in your current view. This means you can apply filters or adjust the layout and download exactly what you see. The new Group By option enables more meaningful categorization, and category-based filtering for a deeper analysis of specific item groups, giving you better control over your inventory insights.
To access this report, go to Reports in the left sidebar > select Stock Summary Report > click Export in the top right corner.
Sales Summary Report
Introducing Sales Summary Report, which provides a daily view of your total invoices and sales receipts, along with the corresponding amounts, inclusive and exclusive of tax. It also shows how many items were sold and the quantities moved. If credit notes have been applied to invoices, the report includes the number and value of those credit notes and deducts them from the sales total to give you accurate net sales values.
To view this report, go to Reports, click Sales Summary Report under Sales
Warehouse Report
The Warehouse Report has received several usability improvements, including support for showing or hiding columns, advanced filters, custom reports, and exporting the current view. These additions make the report easier to tailor to your needs.
View Grouped Transactions in Reports
You can now configure certain reports to display only the total value of grouped transactions rather than listing each transaction individually. This option is available in the Receivable Summary, Receivable Details, Payable Summary, and Payable Details reports.
Enhancements to Warehouse /Locations
Picklist Preferred Bin
Introducing the Preferred Bin feature to the Picklist module to guide pickers during fulfilment of orders. Admins can now specify a preferred bin at the line-item level for bin-tracked items. This preferred bin is displayed on the Picklist Update screen and included in the Picklist PDF if enabled in customization. While the preferred bin serves as a suggestion, pickers are free to choose a different bin when necessary.
Introducing barcode scanning in the Picklist module, significantly speeding up the item picking process. When you click Scan Item from the Update Picklist page, a sidebar opens to display the scanned item. For batch and bin-tracked items, you must first scan the batch and then the bin. Serial-tracked items can be scanned one after the other in any order . For bin-tracked items, scanning the bin followed by the SKU updates the picked quantity. Note that the system prevents over-picking, flags unrecognized scans, and lets you reset to scan a new batch or bin when necessary. Once saved, picked quantities and statuses are automatically updated.
To scan items in picklist, go to Picklists under Sales module and select any picklist to update its quantity using barcode
Inherit Custom Field Values in Picklists
Picklists now automatically inherit custom field values from the linked sales order, reducing manual data entry and improving consistency across records.
Audit Trail for Picklists
We’ve introduced audit trail support for picklists, allowing you to track who made changes, what was changed, and when it was modified. This enhancement improves visibility and accountability in your warehouse processes.
Communication & Notifications
WhatsApp Notifications for Packages and Shipments
WhatsApp notification support has been introduced for the Packages and Shipments modules in Zoho Inventory. You'll have to configure and enable notifications for package creation, shipment creation, and shipment delivery. These can be sent manually from a package or shipment’s details page or in bulk from the list view.
For packages that are not yet shipped, you can send bulk messages using the Not Shipped filter. For shipments, messages can be sent individually or in bulk based on their status. All sent messages and their statuses are logged in the Comments & History section for easy tracking. A new communication permission has also been added where only users with permissions can send WhatsApp messages from these modules.
To enable this, go to Settings > click WhatsApp under Integrations & Marketplace, and enable Packages and Shipments.
Transactions & Payments
Record Standalone TDS Payments
You can now record TDS payments independently for invoice payments. This makes payment workflows more flexible, allowing TDS to be posted for one or multiple invoices, even when the TDS payment date is different from the invoice payment date. This ensures accurate tax reporting in your organisation.
Apply Date for Vendor and Customer Credits
You can now specify an Apply Date when applying vendor advances, vendor credits, customer advances, excess payments, or credit notes. This feature is available on vendor payment screens, vendor credit pages, bills, and the credit apply screen. The Apply Date defaults to the most recent applicable date (or the later of the invoice or credit posting date for customers) but can be overridden. The Applied On date is also included in exports for better tracking and reporting.
Template Association for Customers and Vendors
You can now associate specific templates with individual customers and vendors. When sending a transaction, the selected template for that entity will be applied automatically, helping maintain consistency and saving time.
To associate a template, go to Customers/Vendors under Sales/Purchases, click a customer/vendor, click the New Transactions dropdown in the top right corner, and select Associate Templates.
Localization & Time Settings
Time Zone Support & Date-Based Workflow Enhancements
You can now execute workflows based on either the organization’s time zone or the customer’s local time. This allows you to manage time-sensitive communications efficiently across global markets. When a DateTime field is used, the execution can happen at the exact time specified in the field or at a manually set time.
Filipino and Bahasa Melayu Language Support
Zoho Inventory is now available in Filipino and Bahasa Melayu to better support our users in the Asia-Pacific region, . This enhancement provides a more localized experience for users in the Philippines and Malaysia.
Integrations & Automation
Additional Filters in Shopify Sync History
We’ve enhanced the Shopify integration’s Sync History with new filters. You can now filter sync records based on stock adjustments and shipment details, making it easier to trace sync-related issues.
Tax Remittance for Shopify Orders [US Edition]
You can now choose whether or not to sync tax-remitted Shopify orders. If enabled, sales tax is tracked under your configured tax authority. If disabled, the tax amount will be logged in the order’s comments and marked as non-taxable.
This setting is available under Settings > Integrations & Marketplaces > Shopify.
Apply Line Item Discount with Avalara Integration [US and Canada]
We now support line item level discounts for organizations integrated with Avalara (US and Canada editions). With this enhancement, you can apply discounts directly to individual line items, and Avalara will calculate taxes accurately based on the discounted amounts. This provides precision in tax handling.
Customization
Dynamic Lookup Fields
Lookup custom fields have been enhanced with criteria-based filtering. Enabling the Show Source Module Records Independently option allows you to display only the filtered records you define. If not selected, the field will behave as it always has by displaying all related records.
Mobile Updates
Android App Enhancements
Customize PDFs with colours, predefined templates, digital signature support, and add bank details for smoother mobile invoicing.
New features:
