I purchased the premium plan for the bookings app, but this is far from a premium product. It has a number of basic things missing that should be in a booking at as standard.
before I say any more, I would like to say that this app has a lot of potential and could be a leader in the niche, but at the moment, its not worth €60 a month when you can get a lot more for your money from many other places.
So, here are the essential things I think are needed to make this app worth paying for.
- Ability to delete bookings, even after they are past.
- Ability to take both deposits and final payments.
- Ability to add offline payments manually (useful where multiple payments are given until fully paid)
- Ability to set bookings in days, not just hours and minutes. (think tour bookings, hotel stays, tool hire etc).
- Ability to change more things on the bookings page, for example, hide the header, remove the header overlay or ability to choose from a color-picker (none of the colors in the list work with my brand).. If there was at least unique classes on the html DIV's this would be very helpful because we could add our own css to style the booking page widget on our website.
- Ability to move a service from one workspace to another.
- Faster booking page loading. It loads like a snail on a lunch break.
Also, where is the client portal located, or how do I enable it for clients? I can't find any reference to it in my Zoho Bookings app or the knowledge..
At this time, the only things about this app that are keeping me from cancelling my subscription is the ability to have client details automatically go to Zoho Invoice (via CRM) as they book, so I can invoice them manually with retainer invoice followed by a standard invoice they can pay off at their own pace, and the ability to have more than one workspace.
