In the new update to Writer, when using the Automate Tab (merge docs, sign, or form submission), Zoho has made a change that you MUST select an Automate Template! Once you choose, you are THERE FOREVER!! NOT EVEN ZOHO TECH SUPPORT CAN ROLL BACK THE SELECTION!!
We use Automate for our engagement letters where we 1st, Merge Data, 2nd, we send for Signatures via Sign.
I selected Sign as the template. If you choose, sign, you have ZERO options to merge or filter data from CRM (or any source!!). It sucked!! We have done 300 Engagement Letters until the change!
We had to completely rebuild a NEW engagement letter and select the correct option for our company (Merge Template). It took hours!
We had all three options EACH time we merged in the old system (that worked perfectly well!!!)! Why the change?
Not happy with this update!
