We know you all have been using Zoho for your work. Today, we have tailored our Chat application to fit your Team. You can collaborate at organization & team levels, manage your company, set up security policies in this version. More details here.
The new version needs a transition to your existing account. So, when you log into the system, you will be shown with an intermediate page to make the transition smooth. This landing page will give you two options.
1. Create Organization
2. Join Organization
Create Organization:
As an admin, you should choose this option to set up your organization in Zoho Chat. Once you setup, you can invite other members to join your organization with the 'Manage' link at the top. The user guide for Manage your organization is available here.
Join Organization:
If you are a part of an organization registered in Zoho Chat, and you want to join the organization, You can choose this option. This option is mainly for non-admin users, who know their company is already on board and yet to get the invite to join. Here, you need to submit the email address of any of your colleagues. The system will notify the admin of the organization about your request to Join. When the admin approves the request, you will get an email about the same and you can access Zoho Chat.
Existing Zoho Mail, Zoho Docs, Zoho Connect customers will get an option to Register Zoho Chat for their organization. This one click action will enable Zoho Chat module for your entire organization with the same structure as you have in your existing system. The administrators will be notified by an email.
